In his role as Chief Application Architect, Christian is responsible for defining application architecture blueprints, steering technology innovation and assuring the quality of application architectures across Swiss Re as well as for facilitating the ongoing renewal process of a modern enterprise in leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and adopting upcoming technologies.

Christian has a MSc degree in Computer Science from the ETH Zurich and spent most of his prior professional live at the Swiss Stock Exchange where he architected, designed and implemented trading systems and low-latency network stacks on the JVM.
